all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 c. cold unsalted butter
1/2 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
1/4 c. turbinado sugar (such as Sugar in the Raw)
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, and salt. Add the butter; rub the mixture between fingers until coarse crumbs form.
  2. Toss with the oats and sugar and squeeze the crumble between your hands to form small clumps. Cover and chill for at least 20 minutes or up to 5 days.
  3. When ready to use, spoon over the filling, breaking up any very large pieces and bake until the fruit filling is tender and the top is golden brown, 60 to 75 minutes.
